IR 8 x 5 ESV 1 LUB parts are the replacement components for the lubricated Ingersoll Rand ESV compressor with an 8 inch low-pressure and 5 inch high-pressure cylinder. Vikay supplies new aftermarket parts from India, including metallic packing, cylinders, port plates, pistons and valves.
An 8 x 5 works an 8 inch low-pressure cylinder into a 5 inch high-pressure cylinder. LUB is the lubricated build; the NL version of the same frame carries different ring and valve materials and its parts do not interchange.
The holding covers metallic packing sets, cylinders, frame end and outer end port plates, frame and outer heads, pistons and piston rods, inlet valves, combined inlet and unloader valves and discharge valves.
Metallic packing is the item to plan for on a lubricated ESV. It seals the piston rod where it passes out of the cylinder, and as it wears it passes air and eventually oil. Rising crankcase pressure or oil appearing where it should not is usually packing rather than anything deeper in the machine.
