IR 7 x 5 ESV 1 NL Parts
IR 7 x 5 ESV 1 NL parts are the replacement components for the non-lubricated Ingersoll Rand ESV compressor with a 7 inch low-pressure and 5 inch high-pressure cylinder. Vikay supplies new aftermarket parts from India, including pistons, port plates, heads, valves and unloaders.
NL is the non-lubricated build of the 7 x 5 ESV frame: no oil reaches the cylinder, so rings and rider bands are self-lubricating materials and valve materials differ from the lubricated version. Parts do not cross between the two builds, and fitting LUB components to an NL machine will fail quickly.
The holding covers outer end and frame end port plates, frame and outer heads, pistons and piston rods, inlet valves, combined inlet and unloader valves, unloader assemblies and discharge valve assemblies.
Non-lubricated machines are specified where oil carryover into the air stream cannot be tolerated — instrument air, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and packaging duty. That is also why ring wear on them is a scheduled item rather than a failure: output falls gradually as clearances open.
These are new aftermarket parts; the Ingersoll Rand name identifies fitment only.

Is this the same as the 7 x 5 ESV LUB?
- No. Same bore combination, different build. NL is non-lubricated and uses self-lubricating rings and different valve materials, so the parts are not interchangeable with the lubricated version.
