Drill Bits
DTH drill bits, also called button bits, are the tungsten-carbide studded cutting tools fitted to down-the-hole hammers. Vikay supplies bits from India in 76 mm to 203 mm diameter across BR, DHD, SD, M-series, QL, SVE and Panther shank types.
A DTH bit is specified by two things: the shank that matches your hammer, and the diameter of the hole you want. The shank is not interchangeable between hammer families, so it must be identified first.
Shank types stocked include BR2 and BR3, DHD 3.5, DHD 340, DHD 360 and DHD 380, SD4, SD5, SD6 and SD8, M4 and M6, QL40, QL50, QL60 and QL80, SVE-MEGA 6, SVE 4 3/4 inch, SVE-RK1, SVE-Gladiator, DH17 and Panther 3 and Panther 4 inch.

Face design, flat, concave or convex, is selected against rock hardness and hole straightness requirements.
