Chipping Hammer
A chipping hammer is a light pneumatic hammer used for dressing concrete, removing weld slag, cleaning castings and light demolition. Vikay supplies chipping hammers from India in the Atlas Copco TEX PE and PS classes and Chicago Pneumatic CP 0012 and CP 4123 classes.
Chipping hammers are the finishing end of the pneumatic range. They deliver rapid, low-energy blows so the operator can work precisely against a line, which is what dressing concrete, chasing out honeycombing and cleaning weld and casting flash all require.
